1. Structural design affects airflow distribution
The main function of the filter cage is to support the filter bag so that it can maintain a stable shape under the impact of airflow. If the cage design is unreasonable (such as uneven spacing, too few or too dense support ribs), it may lead to:
Uneven airflow distribution, excessive filtration load in some areas, and low utilization rate in other areas, reducing overall efficiency.
The wrinkles or collapse of the filter bag make it easy for dust to accumulate locally, increase resistance and shorten the life of the filter bag.
Optimization plan: Use a high-strength, evenly distributed support structure to ensure that the airflow passes through the filter bag evenly.

2. The material determines corrosion resistance and life
Filter cages are usually made of metal (such as galvanized steel, stainless steel) or engineering plastics. The effects of different materials on filtration efficiency include:
Metal cages: high strength, but if the surface treatment is improper (such as coating shedding), it is easy to be corroded, causing wear or blockage of the filter bag.
Plastic cages: resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, but may deform in high temperature environments, affecting the sealing of the filter bag.
Optimization plan: Choose the appropriate material according to the working conditions (temperature, humidity, corrosiveness), such as stainless steel for high temperature environment and PTFE coated cage for corrosive environment.

3. Surface treatment affects dust stripping effect
The surface smoothness of the filter cage directly affects the cleaning effect of the filter bag:
Rough surface: easy to adhere to dust, resulting in incomplete cleaning of the filter bag, increasing system resistance and reducing filtration efficiency.
Smooth surface (such as silicon coating, polishing treatment): reduce dust adhesion, improve pulse cleaning effect, and maintain stable filtration efficiency.
Optimization plan: Use electroplating polishing or silicone spraying process to reduce friction resistance.

4. Size matching affects sealing
The size of the filter cage and the filter bag must be accurately matched, otherwise it will lead to:
Too loose: The filter bag swings in the airflow, causing wear or dust leakage, reducing the filtration accuracy.
Too tight: difficult to install, and even causing the filter bag to rupture, and dust directly enters the clean air chamber.
Optimization plan: Customized production to ensure that the error between the cage diameter and the inner diameter of the filter bag is controlled within ±2mm.

5. Mechanical strength affects long-term stability
Under pulse cleaning or high wind speed conditions, the filter cage needs to withstand repeated impacts:
Insufficient rigidity: easy to deform, resulting in bending and damage of the filter bag, and increased dust penetration rate.
Poor welding: broken support ribs, causing the filter bag to collapse and a sudden increase in system resistance.
Optimization plan: Use automatic welding technology to strengthen the support of key parts (such as the bottom ring and the top ring).
